Youth Mental Health Support Project

Thanks to a federal grant through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, the Youth Mental Health Support Project (YMHSP) at Community Partnership of the Ozarks is well on its way to certifying 2,700 First Aiders in Greene County over a three-year period! Through this 8-hour training, teachers, youth-serving organizations, parents, and general community members are empowered to be the one trusted adult for youth to turn to when in need. Our project also offers additional trainings to the First Aiders through lunch-and-learn webinars and an annual First Aider Summit. See below for more information.

The Victim Center

Serves victims of violent and sexual crimes in Southwest Missouri including homicide survivors, rape, assault, people who have lost loved ones to suicide, child sexual abuse, sexual assault/harassment, family violence, adult survivors, family members of those killed or injured by drunk drivers, robbery, sodomy, stalking and other secondary crime victims (witnesses to crimes or have a loved one that is a victim to a crime).

Greene County Treatment Court

A court program that is designed to meet the needs of individuals charged with or convicted of offenses related to their substance abuse and/or mental health. All participants are assessed to determine services and are required to attend substance abuse treatment or mental health services or both if recommended by the assessment. Every participant is required to appear in court 1-3 times per month to meet with the treatment court Judge and meets regularly with his/her probation officer. The goal of this program is to get the individual out of the criminal justice system and back into the community, however public safety is always the first consideration.
