Representatives from the City of Springfield – Building Development Services will share about City codes that impact rental properties, with special emphasis on the new required rental registration program. This went into effect January 16, 2018 and is mandatory for all rental properties within Springfield city limits.

Attorney Michael Miller, of Lowther Johnson Attorneys at Law, will provide information to assist landlords in understanding their rights from the beginning of the landlord-tenant relationship to the end.
Lead Paint and Your Rental Property: August (specific date and location TBD)
Representative from the Springfield-Greene County Health Department will be on-hand to discuss lead-based paint, including the EPA rule.
