Join us for a FREE conference sponsored by Verizon Wireless, and Missouri State Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Missouri State University, Plaster Student Union with special keynotes. The Stop the Violence Conference is a community call to action to stop intimate partner violence. Attendees will have a choice of various breakout sessions regarding intimate partner violence including breakouts. The “Stop the Violence” conference is coordinated by the Family Violence Task Force, led by Community Partnership of the Ozarks’ Violence Free Families Coalition, which has brought together many community organizations and agencies.

Community Partnership, in collaboration with Greene County’s Children’s Division, Greene County Prosecutor’s Office and the Child Advocacy Center, offers a consistent, three-hour mandated reporter training.  General sessions are scheduled throughout the calendar year.  Who is a Mandated Reporter? Anyone responsible for the care, custody and control of a child. What will I learn during the training sessions? When must a Mandated Reporter make a report to the Hotline? If I am an administrator, what is my liability regarding mandated reporting?…

Community Partnership of the Ozarks presents the 20th annual Community Wide Play Day on Saturday, April 27th. This FREE day of play will be held at Fassnight Park from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. The event is a whole day designated entirely to play! There will be all kinds of FREE activities for families of children ages 12 and under. The activities provided are expressive and developmentally appropriate for all your kiddos, while striving to promote growth in fine and gross motor skills, literacy, science, dramatic play, construction, expressive arts and even more! This event is a great way for you and your children to get out and do something fun, active and free together. What better way to learn than through play? We hope to see you there!
